My Project of the week for Repeat Impression stamps-Mar. 6th

Hi everyone, Deonna here. It's my turn to share a project of the week using Repeat Impressions Rubber stamps and i've chosen to show you how to make a Stamped Watercolor Background card.

Supplies that i used

Watercolor paper-I used 140 pound Canon paper cut to 3 3/4" x 5"
Ink pads- Water based dye ink- i used Stampin'up in Rose Romance, Lavender  lace and Mellow Moss
Repeat impression Stamps-10301-H, Patti's Flower Solid, 10314-H, Daisy Solid Large, 10311-C, Leaf Solid Small, 10318-D, Leaf Solid Large
spray bottle with water
Acrylic Block to mount stamps
Base cardstock to finish the card- 8 1/2"x 5 1/2" white cardstock folded in half. Cardstock in Purple cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", Pink cut to 4" x 5 1/4"
White cardstock cut to 8 1/4" x 5 1/2" and folded in half for card base
A.T.G or glue
Ribbon, if desired and embellishments

1. Take your watercolor paper, Rose romance ink and your R.I. stamp (Patti's flower solid) Stamp the image onto your watercolor paper 3 times randomly.

2. Using your mellow Moss ink pad and R.I. Stamps (small and large solid leaf), Stamp in various places around the stamped flowers.

3. Using your Lavender Lace ink and R.I Stamp (Daisy solid Large),ink the stamp and stamp on the watercolor paper 3 times randomly. You may want to go back and add more flowers or leaves to fill in the space. This is optional.

4. After stamping all of the above, take your spray bottle and randomly spritz over the ink.  This caused the ink to spread causing it to look water colored. The more water that you add the better the effect.  Set the wet paper aside and allow to dry.

5. Create your card base and layer the purple cardstock on the card base. I used my A.T.G to glue each layer down. Then layer the pink cardstock on top of the Purple.

6. Once your card face is dry, run a strip of glue across the center of the card face and glue down the ribbon. Glue your card face on top of the pink cardstock.

7. Decorate your card as desired. I added a handmade Crepe paper rosette, some white tulle and a bow made with a Martha Stewart Punch.
 Finished card.

Thank you for stopping by today and i hope that this tutorial was inspiring.
